Getting to know Dr. Nicole Peluso

With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, I began working with adults with mental health conditions in long term care settings for a number of years. I went on to obtain my Masters in Nursing, and finally a Doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota. I have remained involved in academia, as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Iowa, as well as working with the University of Minnesota with ongoing training of their students. Having worked in the field of psychiatry for over 10 years, and in a number of roles, it gave me a unique understanding of the ways in which mental health and addiction intersect to impact one’s wellbeing. My approach has always been one of collaboration and I will be your ally in helping you achieve your goals.
