About Nicole Read
An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Nicole specializes in primary care, chronic disease management, and women’s health. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. She also completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Health Nursing at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.
Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Nicole worked in primary care as a family nurse practitioner in both Hawai‘i and Oregon and served as the Medical Director for a large organization. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a public health nurse.
Nicole, her husband Kevin, and their children frequented Queen Creek for several years, drawn by the kids’ passion for rodeo. They fell in love with the community and decided to make a permanent move to Queen Creek to bring more primary care and some Aloha to this beautiful town. When she’s not addressing the healthcare needs of area residents and visitors, you will find Nicole and her family outdoors hiking and participating in all things rodeo.

I was seen and prescribed antibiotics. Told that they would send my prescription electronically to my pharmacy. Except they never sent it. By the time I go to my pharmacy thinking it would be ready for pick up, the office was closed. I'm now having to wait till tomorrow for medication I really need

I ended up meeting with NP Summer Richardson and she was great. My only frustration is I haven’t heard back yet but I got an email that I had a visit summary and it won’t load in patient portal, so the stress of trying to get results I’ve waited five days for now is wearing on me. And they’re close all weekend so I have to wait til Monday if i can’t get it to load before then. Praying for healthy results

The office was clean and nice and the provider was wonderful. They went out of their way to help explain everything to my daughter and make her feel comfortable showing her exactly what she was experiencing and helping her understand how to handle and avoid it in the future.
I especially appreciated their patience’s as I had an unruly ex spouse who would not be reasoned with that made the entire experience difficult for all. They did a wonderful job of dealing with all of it.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and wait time was reasonable. The waiting room was quiet, and reception staff was lovely. Cody took my vitals and made me feel comfortable. APRN N. Read is a great listener and took the time to discuss my concerns with me. And she doesn’t “push” unnecessary tests, which I appreciate very much. I’m glad I found her.
