About Nicole Sares

Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm proud of you for being here and would love to meet you. My reasons for being with Berry Street are both personal and professional. I believe that finances, genetics, our food supply, mental health, cultural/familial influences, and the way we feed ourselves are deeply entangled. I would like to help you navigate this so that you and your loved ones are well nourished and seeking to stay that way for life. Full disclosure, I am on this journey with you, and always will be. I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2012 and a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2015. Much of my career has been spent supporting pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, birth to 5 nutrition, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, low income families, and men and women with addiction. I have learned that prevention and treatment are both invaluable interventions. I know now, more than ever, that people need help untangling, overcoming barriers and finding balance. I do lean toward an approach of body neutrality, intuitive eating, and gentle nutrition. I'm committed to being inclusive.
