They needed images from my last CT scan and she assisted me with so much patience and I was able to get those images the night before my appointment with Dr Tapia. And the physician assistant, Kacey was a great listener and empathetic. It is a privilege to care for patients when they are at their most vulnerable, and my goal as a physician is to treat each patient and their family with the utmost compassion and respect. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, Austin, followed by my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, San Antonio. I completed my residency in General Surgery and a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Baylor College of Medicine.
