Getting to know Nicole Traub

Hello! My name is Niki Traub, I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing services to adolescents and adults. My background includes working with clients facing a variety of challenges including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, LGBTQIA+ related issues, OCD, PTSD, and sleep disorders. I provide compassionate and judgement-free care as well as a thorough psychiatric evaluation that considers your goals, current symptoms, prior experiences, medical history, lifestyle and health habits. We will discuss various treatment options so that you can make an informed decision about what the best care for you will be. I view medication as one of many tools that may help us to live our best life. With this in mind, we will work together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that incorporates all aspects of wellness into your care. My purpose is to help clients achieve their mental health and wellness goals. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nevada Reno then went on to get a Masters of Science in Nursing specializing in Adult and Women’s Health at Simmons University in Boston in 2009. Following that, I completed post-graduate training at Johns Hopkins University in 2020 to become a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I then completed a one-year nationally accredited Psychiatric Fellowship at Thundermist Health Center in Rhode Island seeing a diverse community health population. I have an interest in adolescent, young adult and LGBTQIA+ populations and look forward to partnering with you on your health care journey!
