I have been practicing since 2023 but began working in healthcare in 2013. I started as a medical assistant before going on to become a medical scribe for one of Arizona's largest community mental health organizations. I then become an RN with a primary focus on treatment of substance use disorders/addiction medicine before advancing my training and becoming a PMHNP. My main focus is now medication management to help with mental health concerns. Prior to the first session, you will receive a portal invite to to complete additional consents and forms. During the first session, you can expect a nonjudgmental space where you are encouraged to speak freely about your concerns. I understand that opening up to someone new about personal concerns can feel intimidating and I hope to ease that discomfort by creating a supportive environment. By the end of our first meeting, I hope you leave feeling confident that you've taken a meaningful step toward healing. I’m best positioned to support individuals ages 18-64 who may be struggling with ongoing mental health challenges but are generally in a place of relative mental stability. These are patients who are seeking additional support through collaborative medication management to improve overall well-being. I work well with those who are motivated to engage in their care and take the steps needed to make progress, as medications alone cannot do all of the heavy lifting in the healing journey. For those ages 17 and younger, I offer treatment in person only at my office in Pequot Lakes, MN. Some of my greatest strengths as a provider is creating a space where you can feel comfortable and heard. I take pride in being thorough by ensuring that no concern goes unaddressed and that you leave feeling like your time was valued. I proudly affirm my commitment as an ally for LGBTQ+ individuals and people of diverse racial backgrounds.
