Dr. Nina Onuoha is a board-certified family medicine physician serving the greater Brooklyn area in New York City. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She later completed her residency training in family medicine at Grand Strand Medical Center, a community-based hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During her training, Dr. Onuoha further developed her passion for primary care by expanding her role as a physician to community health advocate and wellness educator.
Dr. Onuoha works to improve health outcomes for all her patients through the delivery of consistent, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare. She believes in empowering her patients through health education and fostering a strong patient-physician relationship. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Onuoha is committed to maintaining a clinical expertise that is well-informed with the most current clinical guidelines and latest advances in primary care.

Provider was just abrupt and dismissive. Booked a virtual visit and it ended in 3 minutes or so. Felt like I was not heard. She simply blurted out the telephone number for me to Make an appointment for in person evaluation so I can get a referral to see the dermatologist. In essence , my appointment with this dermatologist was so she can tell me the number to call to schedule an in person consultation.

Dr. Onuoha was so professional! She listened to my concerns, gave me advice, and gave proper timeline for my situation to be handled! I honestly loved having a fellow woman as my pcp and I look up so much to women with that much professionalism!
I definitely recommend her! And can’t wait to go back soon!

Dr Onuoha was kind and made me feel very comfortable. She made a diagnosis I was not expecting but she made sure I understood everything so I'd feel in control of my health, even though I was taken aback and lowkey scared. I feel lucky to have found her as a healthcare provider!
