Ninva Baba, APRN, RN

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
26565 Agoura Rd, Ste 200, Calabasas, CA
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where patients feel heard and understood. I began my career as a registered nurse and worked in high-acuity medical settings, including the intensive care unit (ICU). This experience helped me develop a calm, thoughtful approach to care and a strong understanding of the connection between physical and mental health. I treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, sleep problems, and stress-related issues. I also support patients facing burnout, grief, life changes, and relationship or work-related stress. My approach to care is patient-centered and collaborative. I believe listening is essential. During visits, we work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. Medication management is handled carefully and thoughtfully. When medication is appropriate, I focus on clear education, close follow-up, and minimizing side effects. I understand that seeking mental health care can feel overwhelming. I strive to provide a welcoming, respectful environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and sharing concerns. I value cultural sensitivity and practice from a trauma-informed perspective. Whether you are new to mental health care or continuing treatment, I am here to support you with compassion and professionalism.
