A very busy practice. My appointments are never taken on time but I like my psychiatrist and I am prepared to wait for her.

Dr. Natarajan has unique qualities that I rarely experienced with other heathcare individuals of the same profession. She shows real concern and care and sometimes humor from both of us brings smiles to our sessions. Her meticulous detailed follow ups provide her with my state of mind and I am very comfortable during her sessions. I never feel rushed and she answers all my questions concerning my treatments’ options. Our meetings are regular. Basically I love her kind and patience approach and would without any hesitations highly recommend her to any patient looking for these qualities in her.

I have been seeing Dr. Natarajan for a few years now and she is wonderful. She takes an interest in me as a whole not just typical medication maintenance. She is responsive on the patient portal and really listens during our appointments. I would recommend her to friends and loved ones.

Doctor was 20 min late for the call then when she got on the call she didn’t have the information from my test that she also charged me for and said she was gonna call me back. And never did! Not worth the money.

I have a lovely doctor who is very efficient. This was my second time seeing her and she goes fast!! She can go through 50 questions or more in one meeting with accuracy! She takes notes, remembers situations that you went through and follows up, confirms the notes, and is very professional. I really appreciate the speed but there is still so much detail they remember!! I definitely appreciate this play. The app and portal are hard to work with though and I get very frustrated. But the actual meeting is great.

I was given sedatives for anxiety and depression when I told her that I stopped taking my prior medication which was a sedative in the past because of the side effects. Horrible the next day after taking. told her about it and was told I needed time to adjust to it. Throwing up, not being able to walk, slurred speech, headache. No thank you. never returned follow up messages

We felt like the Dr. wasn’t prepared for the session, and had not reviewed the documents that we had spent a good deal of time preparing. She did not introduce herself, or appear caring to me or my daughter. My daughter, who is not normally emotional, left the session in tears. The only feedback the Dr. had for me was to prescribe meds & no real explanation of why. Overall grade of F!

My appointment wasn't all bad as I didn't expect much (I've had bad experiences with therapists/psychiatrists before), but aligned with other reviews where I didn't feel very acknowledged, she was late to the appointment, and a joking comment was made by her about a very personally traumatic and serious matter which made me uncomfortable. I expressed my interest in an ADHD screening, as I've been referred by therapists before to do so, and have always aligned with this/struggled with the symptoms, to which she replied that most people are diagnosed as children so it's unlikely. Approaching this topic has been really difficult in the past, and it felt really awful to be judged in this way as it's well known that girls are often not recognized at all for having certain stereotypical symptoms of ADHD even into adulthood. It's taken me months to work up the courage to see another psychiatrist. Overall felt very judged and not taken seriously or spoken to with empathy at all.

I waited an hour at least both times we had a telehealth appointment. She didn't look into the camera at me, only to a laptop she had on the side. She was monotoned and emotionless through stories of serious trauma, she asked the same questions multiple times during the same appointment and through both appointments, and she wasn't phased at all about being 40+ minutes late. I get it, Covid has changed a lot of things, and telehealth isn't perfect, but these things are a minimum standard, i.e. being on time or letting the patient know things are running behind, looking a patient in the eyes, showing some sort of emotion or empathy during questions, and not asking about the same trauma that has already been answered 6 different times. I'm sure she's a good person, but I would not recommend her to anyone I care about who needs mental healthcare.

Don’t waste your time. I was in a pinch and needed someone within insurance. She was incredibly dismissive, judgmental, and doesn’t really care about mental illness. She also prescribed me medication without telling me the side effects. I then did my research before even picking up the drugs and read all about the side effects. Needless to say the FDA doesn’t even suggest using the drug she prescribed for anxiety. Do not go here!

40 minutes late to virtual appointment with no communication as to why or eta - I had to call the office and have them track her down. Yet, I am sent multiple emails prior to the appt stating I have to be on time or be charged a fee. This is highly unprofessional and absolutely no excuse can be given to justify it.
Dr. Natarajan read her checklist of questions from her computer screen and gave very little eye contact to my daughter. She interrupted my daughter multiple times and would then say the answers were irrelevant. She would speak over both of us. My daughter is already hesitant to discuss her feelings and this doctor established zero rapport. We were rushed and it was an appalling experience from a mental health professional supposedly specializng in children. There was absolutely nothing personable or comforting about the exchange.
Perhaps Dr. Natarajan would be acceptable for an adult that wants clinical and distanced interaction. I would never recommend her as a child psychiatrist.

Dr. Nataranjan was thorough and I felt she took the time to "get to know me" to help recommend what was best for me. I was able to gain insight to why and what I may need to better the quality of life I am desiring. I felt comfortable to express thoughts and plans for myself. Thank you.

nice but she wasn't quick to acknowledge my reasons for perhaps getting over bipolar. I believe I am learning the skills and knowledge to conquer it but she refused to acknowledge that.

I did a tele health appointment. I had to wait about 10min. I filled out a questionnaire before hand. I felt like she did well leading the conversation and asking me questions or to expand upon some of my answers. She also took time at the end to explain what she was giving me and made sure to ask if I had any questions. I enjoyed the appointment. I left feeling better. I’m glad I did it.

Dr. Niru was very thorough, a little bit on the robotic side but all in all I was happy. She listened and offered realistic advice, and suggested both pharmaceutical and holistic solutions for my issues.
