She went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, as well as a residency in Radiation Oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where she worked as Chief Resident her final year.
