Niu Niu is a compassionate and insightful physiatrist and acupuncturist located in Flushing, NY. She is a graduate of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and she completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Niu performs joint injections, nerve block and trigger point techniques, ligament injections, therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome, and acupuncture techniques to treat physical pain and injuries. She combines these treatments with in-home exercise and guidance to help her patients. Dr. Niu is also trained in general surgery and casting/cast removal. She attends annual conferences for rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurology, and rheumatoid arthritis. Her consultations are consistently thorough and precise.
Dr. Niu’s speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Fujian. She enjoys travelling in her spare time.
