“The doctor was really polite and professional , excellent .
The lady Maria for WC was good listener and kind and one of the front desk she was really professional but the medical assitant they were slow and talking without manners and they were careless when it comes to details and attention .
My appointment was at 1:30 pm I was there 1:10 pm and I see the doctor by 3 almost 4 pm .
I will continue my care with the doctor ,but this time knowing that they take for ever before the doctor can see me .”

To expedite the process, when making an appointment with us, please provide your insurance ID number in the notes section. Thank you. Dr. Gimpelevich was born and raised in Kharkov, Ukraine. Not one to shy away from an academic challenge, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Columbia University in 1997. After working for 2 years doing research for Mt. Sinai/ Columbia University Hospital, Dr. Gimpelevich went on to earn his doctorate in Osteopathy from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. After 1 year of residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Gimpelevich completed his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation from Long Island Jewish Hospital on Long Island. Always having been active in competitive athletics (he still plays soccer every week), & experiencing first-hand the multitude of injuries and problems that athletes endure, Dr. Gimpelevich was naturally drawn to his field of physiatry. He derives great satisfaction from helping his patients not only get out of pain but surpass their own expectations and get more out of life. On a personal level, he thrives on the challenge of “figuring out” what’s causing patients’ problems, & appreciates working with a team of professionals who work synergistically to help patients.

my front desk experience was poor -my wait time was extensive . the nurse would not listen, the dr seemed capable but lacked communication skills. i would not recommend this practice

The MD was great but the wait time was a little over the top. Im sure it wasnt his fault but Theres other md also in the office so to many patient complaining about wait time and didn’t have anywhere to sit for 40mins.
Clerical staff should be alittle more considerate and keep you posted if you waiting more then 30mins.

My visit to Medex was great. They have a nice modern office with modern medical equipment. The staff works hard to get you seen and taken care of by the doctor promptly. All of my needs were taken care of in a timely manner. I have been to similar offices and Medex is one of the better ones.

I went for a few visits. The wait is over an hour to see him. He pretends to care the first time. After that, he doesn’t listen to you and rushes you out.

I dont understand why does doctor office dozen give you your records and copy of you sono I hand them a Request And one in the mail and still didn't receive my records And pictures of my sonogram and Report they don't make a follow up to read sonogram searching for another doctor to stop pain josephine dimaria

my visit with dr Alex gimpelevich was great. He was very professional and gave me many options on how we're going to treat the pain I've been recently experiencing. I highly recommend him...although I will say that the waiting time was beyond ridiculous ... I was seen @ 1215pm for a 10am appointment.

The wait time was ridiculous. I saw several people going through the same thing, a few even had to reschedule. The doctor was good. A little rushed, but I'm very pleased with the result. I just wish it took 2 hours less.

The Doctor really really took his time explaining things to me and allowed me to ask questions. In fact, he encouraged me to ask questions. It is very refreshing to see a doctor who takes his/her time in analyzing a patients situation.
The staff was also very very professional, kind, and considerate.
The office is superbusy (probably because of the above mentioned points) so give yourself time when you go.
