Ngozichi Nwosu, LCSW, is dedicated to helping individuals across Arizona navigate life's challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. She provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, and neurodivergent processing challenges. Through a client-centered approach, Ngozichi empowers her patients to build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and cultivate meaningful change. She has a passion for working with neurodiverse individuals, including those with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, understanding their unique strengths and challenges and tailoring her approach accordingly. Whether helping a child struggling with executive functioning, a teen navigating social difficulties, or an adult managing work-life balance, she creates a supportive environment where clients can embrace their identity and thrive.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques. These help clients develop self-awareness, manage distressing emotions, and foster long-term emotional well-being. Ngozichi also specializes in supporting individuals through midlife transitions and grief, guiding them with understanding and effective coping strategies. Practicing since 2018, she is committed to providing an inclusive and affirming space for individuals with developmental disabilities. She works collaboratively with clients to address concerns in a way that honors their experiences and perspectives.
Ngozichi earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University and holds a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Liberty University. Outside work, she enjoys science fiction and fantasy, Japanese animation, video gaming, and DIY projects, interests that complement her therapeutic approach.

I found Lifestance Health and Dr. Nkechinyere back in July of 2024. I am very grateful to have been paired with such an amazing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Friendly staff, clean and safe environment, central location. Highly recommend.
