About Dr. Nneka Okafor
Dr. Nneka Okafor earned an undergraduate degree in biology at Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in public health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at UT Health San Antonio Medical School.
Dr. Okafor is board certified in family medicine and holds a certificate in basic life support. She sees patients aged 18 and older for annual wellness visits, chronic medical conditions, weight loss management and mental health conditions. Her clinical interests include diabetes management, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and weight loss.
Her patient-centered approach combines mental, physical and emotional care to reach the best health outcomes. She wants patients to see her as a kind, compassionate physician who listens and works with them to arrive at a treatment plan that fits their life and overall health needs.

Amazing! Dr. Nvene was so sweet and kind. She was knowledgeable, caring , compassionate and non judgmental of any questions or concerns I brought to her attention. She took her time and paid attention to every detail- all while making sure I was comfortable, well informed and that I was completely taken care of across the board! I’m excited to have her as my new PCP.

My overall experience was great. I was in and out in no time. There was little to no wait time upon arrival. The doctor listened to my needs and answered all of my questions. I was sent the information for all of my paperwork prior to my appointment, so upon arrival I waited less than five minutes before my name was called. I went for an annual physical as a first time patient, however I did have a couple of concerns that were addressed accordingly. Dr. Nvene was amazing! While everything moved quickly, it didn’t feel rushed at all. As someone who hasn’t had a regular PCP in over a decade, I feel comfortable moving forward after this visit.
