About Dr. Nnenna Agim
Nnenna Agim, MD is an experienced dermatologist board certified in both general and pediatric dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology following which she trained in Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. She stayed on for an internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital before completing Dermatology residency training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, serving as a chief resident.
She returned to Houston to complete a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship with Baylor College of Medicine at the world-famous Texas Children’s Hospital, following which she returned to Dallas to build a Pediatric Dermatology Practice and Program. A former Associate Professor of Dermatology, Division Chief and Program Director at the University of Texas Southwestern Dallas and Children’s Hospital Dallas, she served for over twelve years serving countless patients and creating educational programs for medical students and residents, including the establishment of a fellowship program which graduated other successful Pediatric Dermatologists now practicing within and outside the United States. Over the years, she has lectured locally, regionally and nationally. Her authorship in these areas of expertise is extensive and she has been fortunate to write, review or edit manuscripts for many of the major medical and dermatology journals: Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatrics, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, etc., textbooks, popular reference resources like VisualDx, and patient directed articles on preventive health.
She is quite honored to have been selected by peers as a Top Doctor/Pediatric Specialist in Dallas for the last 7 consecutive years and a Super Doctor of Texas for the past five years.

The appointments are very rushed. I felt like the provider wasn’t there to listen to me, but rather to just rush through the appointment. The cost of the appointment wasn’t explain to me either. I personally wouldn’t recommend.

The dr. saw me and my daughter together so we could get out in a timely manner. She was very knowledgeable about what we both had going on and gave us a lot of samples to get our skin conditions under control. Everything was very professional. I will definitely be back.

The waiting area was very spacious, clean and nice. Once the appointment started pictures of the problem area and medical history and information were taken, when the doctor came she was very nice, verified the info and explained what the issue was and how to solve it. She also provided multiple options that could be used for treatment.

Was notified after paper work was sent in and after the doctors visit was complete that I would have to pay more money due to not have primary doctor. Would have been nice to be notified since documents were sent in prior to office visit. Also doctor came in for 5 min. Was the quickest appt that I have been to that offered me no new results or answers at the end.

My experience here was very good. Dr. Agim was very thorough in her explanation of an issue I’ve had going on for over two years. She was a good listener and the medical staff was very friendly, the front and staff not so much. I was called back to be seen almost right away. Beautiful, clean office and wonderful staff! Everyone was so kind, the wait times were short, and my nurses/doctors were very informative. I even left with a “goodie” bag similar to what you’d get at the dentist (but better!). Everything was great from start to finish, and I would highly recommend.

Dr. Agim and her assistant Casey were both excellent. I was particularly impressed with how she listened to my concerns and explained the process of removing my 13-year-old son's keloids from behind his ears. He was scared, but they comforted him, talked him through it, and kept him informed throughout the procedure.
