Getting to know Dr. Noah Mosier

As a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD in Psychology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I have dedicated the past 15 years to providing exceptional mental health care to individuals across a variety of settings, including private practice, telehealth, and PTSD specialty care. My passion lies in helping individuals tap into their unique strengths to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I believe in the importance of tailoring treatment to each individual's specific needs and goals, which is why I offer evidence-based interventions and strive to provide the highest possible quality of care. My areas of expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, and PTSD, and I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest research and treatment techniques in these fields. Whether you're struggling with a specific issue or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, I am here to support you on your journey toward greater emotional and mental health. Together, we can work toward achieving your goals and creating a more fulfilling life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive to create a nonjudgmental and supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is approached from a place of compassion, empathy, and understanding.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy will begin with a thorough assessment of your presenting concerns and struggles. This involves a psychosocial interview to explore your personal and family history, as well as your current life circumstances. To gain further insight into your emotional and mental functioning, we may also use personality assessments and other measures. With the insights gained from the assessment process, we will collaborate to develop a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals. Evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, or person-centered therapy may be included in the plan. As we work together, I will continually assess the progress we are making and make any necessary adjustments to our treatment plan. My ultimate goal is to help you develop the skills and insights necessary to lead a fulfilling and satisfying life. You can expect compassionate and effective care throughout your therapy journey.
