About Dr. Nora Bauman
While many think of chiropractic care as a response to acute symptoms (as in, "Oh, I hurt my back"), regular chiropractic care also serves to maintain and, in some cases, even improve health in an already healthy individual. Chiropractic care, coupled with healthful habits like regular exercise, sufficient hydration, adequate sleep, sound nutrition, and a healthy mental outlook, works not just to maintain but also to optimize health. In other words, regular chiropractic care not only restores health but can also strongly contribute to your overall wellness.
The primary focus of chiropractic care is addressing spinal nerve interference. Many health problems-such as disease, pain, fatigue, illness, and chronic disorders-originate in the spine. These conditions often occur as a result of misalignment of the vertebrae, which, in turn, puts pressure on a nerve. By realigning the spine, not only are symptoms often alleviated, but your immune system is boosted, and overall well-being is frequently restored.
In addition to providing wellness care, as a California Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic and a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, I specialize in treating injuries related to sports, work, and automobile accidents. I strongly believe that proper chiropractic treatment to address the underlying cause of a problem, rather than masking pain with medications, can both relieve symptoms and ultimately improve your health. As your partner in care, I want to help you return to, maintain, and maximize your health-so don't wait until illness or injury causes you to make that first call. She's great! I've recently started seeing her, and she's helped a lot. When I first came in, we had a sit-down to discuss what was going on and determine what needed to be done. Since then my back and tailbone have been feeling a lot better, even after a 5 hr flight, which is normally brutal. I highly recommend her; she's super nice and quite funny as well!

Thorough intake before treatment. You know that experience where the physician is so busy taking notes that you only remember the top of their head? I don't remember her taking notes but, she must have as she contniues to make refernce to details share during theintake process. Dr. Bauman had great eye contact and was engaged in my recap of events that led me to her office; asked questions and expressed understanding and empathy.

I was experiencing lower back pain for a few weeks. When I usually I only experience this for a couple of days and it gets better. This time, the pain just wasn't going away. My wife recommended that I see a chiropractor and suggested Dr. Bauman.
Dr. Bauman was great. She put me on a roller table with heat and did an adjustment. Within 24 hrs 95% of the pain was gone and I fully recovered within a few days later. So happy I went here!
