“Dr Gleicher is well known in the IVF community for his knowledge on aneuploid embryo transfer and outcomes. I was seeking a consult with a goal of asking some questions and also prioritising my own aneuploid embryos (which the doctor where I live had agreed to transfer). We went through each of the 19 currently frozen embryos and he helped me assess and prioritise each one.
He also picked up one thing in my results that no one else had ever mentioned which has given me one more path I could try for my next retrieval to improve my euploidy rate.
I’m aware that some of his research is contentious within the scientific medical community (moreso for how the data is presented rather than for the mere fact he advocates for the transfer of aneuploid embryos). In this context I found him to be methodical and very clear, clarifying when necessary.
I had a stated goal going into the appointment and I came out having achieved that goal. I appreciated his time deeply.”

About Dr. Norbert Gleicher

Norbert Gleicher, MD, FACOG, FACS, is an infertility specialist specializing in autoimmune diseases at the Center for Human Reproduction in NYC.
Dr. Gleicher grew up in Vienna, Austria, and completed his medical studies at the Medical University of Vienna. After preclinical years, he graduated and completed an internship at the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine in Israel. He then moved to NYC for a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and a fellowship in reproductive immunology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. As chief resident, he was awarded the Dr. Solomon Silver Award in Clinical Medicine.
Upon graduation, Dr. Gleicher was appointed to the medical school faculty of Mount Sinai School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the department as Head of the Division of Reproductive Immunology.
Two years later, he moved to Chicago as Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Immunology/Microbiology at Rush Medical College. He held these positions for 10 years until his resignation when he began focusing on the Center for Human Reproduction, which he founded in 1981.
Since 1990, Dr. Gleicher has held a variety of academic professorial appointments at Chicago Medical School, NYU School of Medicine, and Yale University School of Medicine. Since 1999, he is President, Medical Director, and chief scientist of the Center for Human Reproduction and President of the not-for-profit Foundation for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Gleicher has published hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific papers, abstracts, and book chapters in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Currently, he serves as Academic Editor for PLOS One and is a member of multiple editorial boards.

I would say this is one of the most knowledgeable doctors alive in terms of the science of infertility.
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to meet him and allow him to take care of my complex case. In our short interaction so far I can see how much he loves what he do, how he went thoroughly through my history and came up with a very rational plan.
