“I made an appointment. When I arrived the clerk looked it up. Then I had to fill out the paperwork on my phone. Then my insurance information was taken. Next I was informed as soon as a room was available I'd be called. There were people ahead of me. Eventually I was called. I waited for a short time and a nurse came in took my vitals and my medical history, and my problems. I waited again and the provider came we talked and she gave me a prescription.”

Terrible. Had to wait 2 hours. Then when the pharmacist called twice, and I called ,no one picked cled up the phone!!

Overall, the experience was not good. This is the second time I have been to a Northwell Urgent Care and was treated as if I was overreacting about my symptoms. I felt dismissed because I kept getting cut off, and I wasn't listened to. The last time I went to the Lynbrook location, the P.A. told me to go home, my symptoms were not that bad as I was making it seem, and it turned out I had a kidney stone. I felt the same way here at the Springfield location. I was repeatedly cut off while explaining, and words were put in my mouth that I had not said. When the medication was being explained to me, I was told "it was going to make me MORE snappy" as if I was rude, which I was not, and as if my advocating for myself was wrong. My symptoms got worse when I got home, which I explained to the medical professional would happen because I was sick with the same symptoms weeks prior. The medication has been working so far, but I would not have gotten them had I not advocated for myself.
