I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of experience in nursing. My nursing journey began in surgical and pediatric care before I discovered my true passion in critical care, where I served for more than 15 years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, my experience as a critical care nurse deepened my awareness of the profound impact of mental health on patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Reaching out for mental health support can feel intimidating—especially if you’ve been carrying a lot on your own or haven’t felt truly heard in the past. As a mental health nurse practitioner, I strive to offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where we can slow things down and make sense of what you’re experiencing together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, personality disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. I also support clients navigating life transitions, stress, and challenges related to emotional regulation and self-esteem, using a holistic, evidence-based approach, medication, and therapy.
