“I went for my 1st mammogram at this facility after reading the great reviews on Zocdoc. It was a great experience, all my anxiety went away as soon as Susan called me in. I was called in approximately 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. She was very friendly, explained everything throughout the process. I was offered tea after while I completed paperwork. The actual mammogram was a breeze, besides slight pressure from your breasts being squeezed. I would recommend this facility to every woman. I already raved to my family and friends about it if they ever require a mammogram. Bonus: There is parking on site. ”

The doctor did not show up. After spending an hour getting there and waiting a half hour in the waiting room, I followed up and was informed that they needed to reschedule my appointment because the doctor did not come in.

This was convenient and professional. They called me soon after I scheduled to go over questions with me; they processed my insurance and referral without any hassle to me; the office is very nice (almost oddly so? I was like “why is reception on the other side of a cafe?”). I was seen a few minutes before my appointment time, and the scan itself went quickly. The only, very small negative was that during intake people would talk to me while not looking at me or using my name, and while others were there, so I couldn’t always tell when they were addressing me. This honestly seemed like a byproduct of how efficient they are! E.g., the receptionist was helping another patient navigate a phone tree, in a way obviously beyond her duties.
The changing space is clean and well lit, the exam room is right there, and the person doing the scan explained at each step what was happening. It was over within 15 minutes. If you have to get your breasts smashed by a machine, this is the way to do it.
