About Dr. Oben Ojong
Hi! I am Dr. Oben Ojong, a Board Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon. I enjoy meeting new patients and helping you achieve your goals for your skin. I specialize in creating custom skincare regimens and procedures tailored to your needs. I perform skin cancer screenings, mole checks, and cosmetic consultations to help you be your best self.
My areas of special interest include cosmetic procedures such as laser treatments for all skin types, including skin of color, hair loss management, and treating wrinkles and other signs of aging using lasers, microneedling, chemical peels, fillers, medication, custom skincare regimens, and many other options.
I also provide skin cancer treatments, cyst removals, and lipoma treatment using surgery and other modalities. I see pediatric patients from age 10 and up for various medical conditions as well.
I completed my medical degree at Ohio University, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a Dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus in Hialeah. I earned my bachelor's degree from Viterbo University.

If you have insurance go. I was reassured by the receptionist that I could be treated for multiple concerns I had. I don’t think they interfered with one another. She treated the most important and I’m grateful. Hope it works. I was going to say it takes me three days of work to afford one visit. So I wanted to make the most out of the trip. As soon as the physician walked in she looked at my shoes multiple times before making eye contact with me. I knew I could not bring up cost at this point. Not knowing I worked at a retail shop which allowed me to purchase said brand of shoes at a discount. Then proceeding to utilize credit to purchase an item I wanted to get for myself. The physician seemed to be in a hurry and reserved. I can understand as not wanting to get sick. Overall the establishment was clean, well mannered assistants with a contemporary design.

I called Dr. Oben after finally deciding to take control of my Acne problem which had left scars on my face for decades. She IMMEDIATELY identified the causes of my acne just by looking at my face, then prescribed 2 meds that have cleared my skin.
I can't recommend her enough. My confidence is up, Skin is shining, no more walking around with open sores on my face. She is a life saver.
If you have been living with skin problems, just call her. the solutions are SOOOOO much easier than you probably think when dealing with a pro like her.
