About Obianamma Ozuah
Dr. Obianamma (Obi) Ozuah, DNP, APRN, ANP-C, has been a nurse practitioner for the past 16 years. She has practiced in various clinical settings, including primary care, house calls, occupational health, telehealth, and inpatient and outpatient palliative care. Dr. Obi enjoys teaching patients about wellness and preventative health measures to improve their health outcomes. She earned her Bachelor's in Nursing and Master's in Adult Health Nursing from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2002 and 2005, respectively. She also completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. Outside of work, Dr. Obi loves to read, travel, and explore new and interesting sights.

As a new patient NP Ozuah immediately put me at ease with her pleasant greeting and warm smile. She was confident, knowledgeable and thorough in getting my history and the physical examination. Recommendations were given without any pressure and my questions were adequately answered. Importantly for me I did not feel rushed at any time during the appointment.

Dr. Ozuah, and the staff at Zion are the definition of kind and professional. During my first visit with Ozuah, she was understanding, and accommodated my needs, taking the time to address all of my concerns. As someone with a past of SA, it is paramount that any doctor I see prioritize my comfort throughout the entirety of my visit; which she did. I can’t recommend her enough.

Was scared to go in since it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a doctor. Once you walk in you are greeted and information was taken right away. The staff are all nice and smiley. The Dr. was amazing I didn’t feel scolded for not seen by Doctors and my health. I walked away being informed. I liked it so much I’m booked my two kids to see her.

When coming to my appointment, the staff that worked at the desk was not very friendly. Over the phone, this was one way, but in person (and it was not busy), her way of interacting and communicating seemed rude. I did have to wait about 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment as well to see my doctor - I was considering leaving just to go home and rest. The doctor did her job and what was needed for the visit! Again, with the friendliness, I wouldn't say this was given here as with my other experiences with my other doctors who care about me!

NP Obi is simply amazing. She is professional and compassionate. She understood my concerns and provided the recommended follow-ups. She is friendly and personable, and we both laughed hard over something personal and silly I was afraid of!! I didn't feel judged or like "another number." I love the fact that I can get my labs done at the clinic with thorough screenings available. I am so glad I found this clinic, and I can now say I have a PCP near my house!! I highly recommend this medical facility.

Outstanding, from start to finish. From the receptionist to the doctor I had a wonderful experience. She jumped right on in and I felt as if she has been my PCP for years. She exhibited empathy and really got to know my medical history. I feel so comfortable with her already. I know that she will assist me in getting my overall health back to where it needs to be and I am so excited. Don’t pass on this practice they are the truth.
