Ogechi Umomah, NP is an excellent provider. She is so kind and sincere. She makes me very comfortable when needing to share my issues, concerns and questions. She explains and clarifies all my medication and how hey may interact and what hey will do for me. I’m so very grateful to have her as my psychiatrist. I did not have this type of care at all before.
Doctor told me she could not submit prescription due to CVS pharmacy not allowing her to enter it because I had already pick up a 30 day prescription for the medication this month. I tried to explain and show her the prescription bottle, that it was a bridge script from hospital and was only for 2 day supply, and I pulled up my CVS app to see if there was a problem. Doctor told me to call CVS and see what the issue was and call or text her back. I called CVS and they told me that there was no reason the doctor wouldn’t be able to send a script in on there end. I called and messaged doctor back, it’s been 4 days now and no response from doctor. QUACK! Don’t waste your time & money.

I was not helped, was basically told they were calling for a welfare check even though I had no plans to hurt myself, and told that I can go to the ER for this kind of help, even though I wasn’t hysterical or in a current crisis, just trying to get help for a precious one.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a psychiatrist. Don’t get me wrong, the doctor was nice, but that is the only saving grace of this review. Before my appointment I was contacted by a receptionist who asked me a ton of administrative questions (birthday, emergency contact, etc) which took 10+ minutes, i then filled out a TON of online forms answering the same questions, and then told the doctor the answers AGAIN at my appointment . I initially missed my appointment because of an extremely busy work day, and instead of just cancelling it and charging me the fee, they were extremely rude over the phone about my absence. THEN I finally have my appointment and it takes WAY too long, and the doctor said “I hope you don’t forget about your upcoming appointment too” after she forced me to schedule a <2 week follow up for a prescription I’ve been on for years now. To make everything worse, she never even sent my refill to the pharmacy until I called to remind her…

Dr. Uzomah seems to sincerely cares about her patients. She made me feel comfortable and was a good listener. I only wish I would have know about my copay amount ahead of time. They just charged me with no warning. Besides that no other issues.

Dr. Uzomah was very thorough in her evaluation and explained things that my previous psych did not. I am looking forward to working with her.
Very attentive and professional.
It was a very pleasant experience. Very refreshing to finally speak to a health care provider that could offer me a sympathetic and compassionate ear. I have had a few not so good experiences wit other health care providers and felt stigmatized due to my mental health diagnosis. She made me feel comfortable and heard.
