Getting to know Dr. Ok Ji

An in-person visit may be required depending on your treatment needs, such as but not limited to certain prescriptions. Your clinician will work with you to determine an appropriate treatment plan. Dr. Ji helps people with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and alcohol and substance use disorders. He also treats active-duty military and veterans and provides gender-affirming mental health care to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Dr. Ji uses elements of psychotherapy in combination with psychiatry to help patients recognize and reassess maladaptive coping strategies and relationship dysfunction. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Marian University and completed his psychiatry residency training at Wright State University, where he was awarded the Excellence in Medical Student Teaching award. Dr. Ji holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. In his free time, he enjoys collecting vinyl, spending time with his dogs and family, building computers, and playing video games.

Dr. Ji was great but Terrible Staff with Poor Billing Practices I had an extremely frustrating experience with Mindpath Health's Irvine Office. I was incorrectly charged a large amount for a visit that should have only cost me a small copay, as confirmed by my insurance. Despite providing all the necessary documentation and contacting the billing office and the office location multiple times, I received no resolution. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, leaving me to deal with the issue on my own. I would not recommend this office to anyone due to their poor billing practices and lack of assistance in resolving errors. Avoid this place if you want a hassle-free healthcare experience.
