Olasunkanmi "Michael" Abiodun, MBA, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a multi-state-licensed practitioner. I am licensed in TX, NH, VT, OR, VA, NM, MT and ID. I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I have a rich experience having worked in a wide variety of psychiatric settings, including outpatient, inpatient, substance use/addiction medicine, rural/underserved areas, and correctional facilities. I graduated from Lehman College - City University of New York with a dual bachelor's degree in biology and economics. I earned an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University - Honolulu, Hawaii. I earned my BSN degree from the University of Texas - Medical Branch at Galveston and his MSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my specialty is in child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric mental health. I am highly skilled in caring for individuals with behavioral and mental health disorders! My approach with every patient is addressing the root cause of each condition while providing the utmost care. My aim is promoting total health and wellness - the process of enabling patients to have increased control and management of their health. As a clinician, my goal is enhancing emotional, social/relational, environmental, physical, occupational, intellectual, and spiritual wellness - while judiciously utilizing pharmacotherapy and/or psychotherapy.
