About Dr. Olasupo Olagundoye

She specializes in empowering individuals and families to live healthier lives by focusing on preventive care and managing a wide range of health conditions. Dr. Olagundoye practices family medicine in Texas. Dr. Olagundoye has been practicing medicine since December 1988, having started her journey with a Medical degree (MBBS) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She brings extensive experience, including a Family Practice and Community Medicine Residency. She continuously collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to plan the best course of treatment for each individual, with a special interest in tropical medicine, having obtained a Postgraduate Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 2011 from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Olagundoye is deeply committed to advancing social justice and health equity. She previously served as Chair of the Group on Minority & Multicultural Affairs within the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and was involved with the Patients Rights & Responsibilities Committee, underscoring her dedication to supporting all individuals in their healthcare journey. Her work is inspired by her experience making known the healing presence of God within our communities. Her philosophy of patient care centers on human kindness, empowering patients with knowledge and choices for their health.
