What is your typical process for working with clients?
Your first session will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, previous treatments, medications, sleep, daily functioning, and personal goals. I will ask questions to better understand what you are experiencing, discuss possible diagnoses, and explain appropriate treatment options.
Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, patient education, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with other healthcare professionals. Follow-up appointments focus on your progress, medication effectiveness, possible side effects, and any changes in your symptoms or functioning.
My visits may include supportive therapeutic conversation and practical coping strategies; however, my primary services are psychiatric evaluation and medication management. If ongoing talk therapy would be beneficial, I can coordinate your care with a therapist at Arise Health Clinic.
