Welcome! I am a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner with over 2 years of experience treating individuals with mental health disorders. I practice in both Maryland and Washington, DC. I hold a Master's in Nursing from Walden University.
I have over 25 years of experience in the nursing field, with expertise ranging from mental health and substance abuse treatment to acute care, acute rehabilitation, and long-term care settings. I provide integrated care that includes both psychiatric mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
I am committed to assisting each client in achieving wellness through lifelong transformations. I believe in holistic care that considers not only the physical aspects of a client's illness but also the emotional and spiritual aspects. To me, healing and wholeness are matters of body, mind, and spirit.

My mission is to provide patient-centered mental healthcare with excellence in quality service and easy access to services. I am committed to the wellness of mind for individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, treatment, and education of mental health. Furthermore, I believe in fostering hope and confidence in the ability to conquer life stresses and enrich the quality of lives for my Clients.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

We were off to a bad start as she was over 30 minutes late to our appointment.
I don’t know if it is because I changed insurance companies or moved to a new city, but the doctor could not find my previous prescription. Though understandably confusing, she refused to consider alternatives to find my medical record and was very insistent that I have never had prescriptions before, even though I have pharmacy records that showed my prescription history. She proposed starting me on a new kind of medication even though I told her that currently I don’t feel comfortable starting one I don’t know about and I do not have the time to deal with potential negative side effects. It was difficult to communicate.
