Mayowa is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from UTHealth Houston (The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston). With over eight years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health care, she takes an integrative, whole-person approach to treatment. As a mother who has personally experienced various life transitions and the joys and challenges of motherhood, she deeply understands the complexities of maternal mental health and the impact these can have on one's mental well-being. She believes every individual deserves care tailored to their unique needs.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am passionate about the mental health of each individual, creating a safe, compassionate space where each person feels understood and empowered. I value collaboration and work closely with my patients to develop personalized care plans that honor their individuality and goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Once an appointment has been booked, expect a call from the office to schedule a New Patient Evaluation to determine diagnoses (if any). After that determination, I will get a history, assess your symptoms, and then we would discuss a treatment plan that may or may not include medication, supplements, nutrition, psychotherapy, environmental changes, and/or lab work.

I have worked in Healthcare for 35 years, so believe me when I say I know the “Good & Bad”… Yet, with Olumayowa Omoyeni, I saw and felt, nothing less than pure excellence!!! I do not say this lightly! I’ll be honest, it’s hard for me to admit I need help, but within seconds I KNEW I was Blessed and found the absolute Best Provider to help me. ~ She did not just listen to me, she heard me. (Have you felt that feeling before… it’s rare!) She was compassionate, empathetic, as if I knew her forever. I would refer Olumayowa Omoyeni to anyone In need, so if you’re contemplating Don’t! You just Found the Absolute Best!!!! It may sound Cliché… but i prayed hard over this, without doubt, she was chosen to help me! I finally “EXHALED” for the first time in years. Mayowa was SOOO kind and attentive. She answered all my questions and asked extensive questions to get to know me and also figure out my diagnosis. I would definitely recommend her. It took me a while to seek help but meeting with her lifted all my worries. Got prescribed necessary meds right away and approached it in a trial method which I love.
