He strives to create a supportive, therapeutic, and safe environment that fosters his patients’ beliefs, values, nonjudgmental care, and inclusivity. Dr. Nutayi understands that patient-focused care continues to evolve into an environment that promotes therapeutic care, collaboration with the patient, trust, mutual respect, and open communication. He believes in investing his time in his patients, listening, and providing education on patient care. No matter his patient’s mental health journey or past disappointments in their path to healing, there must be therapeutic care that leads to recovery. Dr. Olusegun Nutayi is a dual board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC). He earned his Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Liberty University and his Master’s in Family Health Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. His clinical experience began over seven years ago, working in various clinical settings. As a compassionate, caring, and lifelong learner, his commitment and dedication to his patients foster a safe, therapeutic, and provider-patient relationship.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I utilize a patient-centered approach to caring for patients while using evidence-based treatment.
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, ADHD, anxiety, or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues impacting your health and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained

The office was saying I never saw this doctor but I did, and I even filled out the forms and have proof. The doctor did not notify the office staff that I had been seen, and the doctor himself was highly rude and dismissive of my concerns. The office texted me "sorry that we triggered you" and all this mumbo jumbo , along with a fake reasoning as to why I was wanting to be seen. I was trying to find an alternative to my current medications because I want to not take anything at all. Unprofessional

I have an issue with opening up and feeling heard with doctors and medical professionals. Doctor O didn’t make me feel that way at all. He listened to my concerns and fears. I never felt judge or ignored with what I was saying. I spent the time leading up the appointment worrying but by the time I finished my appointment I was smiling, happy, and excited. For once there seems like hope on my healing journey and that wouldn’t have happened without Doctor O. He was truly great. Best medical personal I’ve ever interacted with.
