Olusolape Akinyemi, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings, from hospitals to outpatient clinics. Her education includes a BSc in Psychology and psychiatric rehabilitation from Kean University and University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. She also obtained a BSc in Nursing from UMDNJ. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization, from the Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ and continues her Post graduate studies for Doctor of Nursing Practice at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. She holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Olusolape brings to the clinic a humanistic philosophy of care for both mind and body, and an abiding commitment to individualized, personalized, comprehensive care for patients across the life span. In her spare time, Olusolape enjoys watching international movies, reading Victorian novels, travelling, eating Thai food and spending time with her family .

Olusolape Akinyemi was calm, professional, and understanding. She was capable of asking questions that brought me the answers I needed, and didn’t intimidate me or make me feel ashamed to talk about my problems. Our appointment was slightly hindered by the online aspect but she was able to put me on a medication that worked for me.
