Oluwatosin (Tosin) is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with many years of clinical experience. I am licensed in the states of Maryland and Virginia but am currently seeing clients in Maryland. I am a graduate of Coppin State University with a Bachelor’s degree, earned my Master’s in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric mental health from Walden University, and hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Purdue University. I am fully comfortable with all facets of mental health disorders. I provide professional psychiatric healthcare services such as psychiatric evaluations and medication checks/management. I have excellent interpersonal skills and interactions with patients. I am self-motivated to meet my patients’ needs while providing quality care and ensuring patient satisfaction. So far, I have enjoyed great success, and I always feel happy when I see my patients functioning in the world they desire.

Our dedicated approach focuses on a holistic approach that focuses on treating your whole body and mind to make you feel better. Innovative mindset mental health services LLC was founded to enable people to focus on their mental health needs while eradicating mental health stigmatization. We facilitate assessing our client's mental and physical symptoms, develop a diagnosis and treatment plans that suit individual needs while ensuring quality and safe care.
We provide ease and convenient appointment to our clients by bridging the gap between providers and patients and removing barriers to things like location, transportation, and convenience. Our clients can see their provider whenever or wherever they need in the comfort of their home.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
As soon as a patient scheduled an appointment, one of our team members will either call, text, or send an email to obtain insurance information for verification. Once that is completed, the patient will be sent a link to activate the patient portal and sign the agreement forms and complete their profile. Patients will receive text message/email notification and a telehealth link for a confirmed appointment.

It has been a while since I have been looking for a provider that would listen and understand me. Dr.O is a God-sent. I have been switching from one Dr. to another due to many reasons. Dr. O is very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. She was very thorough and she explained the treatment options to me clearly. She is great at what she does.

She listened intently, asked pertinent questions and was extremely patient. Having ADHD I tend to talk a lot, I talk fast, at times I jump topic to topic and a lot of times forget what I was even talking about. This concerned me because I was afraid I confused her like I do most.
At the end of the appointment, she reviewed what we went over and what I need to do next.

I finally met a provider that understands my needs. Ms. Oluwatosin was so calm, friendly and thorough.
Other providers I have seen over the years rush through everything and don't listen to me.
Ms. Oluwatosin discontinued my medication and started me on a new medications regime and I have seen lots of different just within 3 weeks.

My intake with Dr. Oluwatosin was very pleasant. These initial visits often fill me with much anxiety, but she could sense it and did a good job of helping me calm down while ascertaining the information she needed. My next appointment is already scheduled and I feel grateful that I have no anxiety about that one.

I wouldn't have made it through 2021 if I haven't met with Dr. Tosin. All my medications wasn't working. A friend gave me her number to call her. She was really thorough during the evaluation. The intake process was fast and easy. She suggested another medication that will work for my diagnosis and I have been feeling much better since then. She is awesome!
