She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her sub-specialty fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She also received training in internal medicine and endocrinology.

She needs to work on her bedside manner. She is not very friendly. She kept asking so many questions, I did not have time to ask all of mine. She rushed out of the appointment after 30 minutes to see another patient. She told me contradictory information and I did not find the appointment useful at all. I would recommend finding a more professional doctor.

It was an extremely frustrating experience. I have very recently been diagnosed by both a reproductive endocrinologist and my PCP that I have secondary hypothyroidism. I had extensive lab work done, which was shared a week prior to the visit. I have been told by both physicians the next steps would be to having imaging done. The moment my visit started, Dr Quijano said I can't treat secondary hypo. So I was then charged for the visit even though all paperwork prior to it showed what I needed to be seen for. I wish I would've just been sent a note saying this is not in their scope to treat, so it wouldn't have been a waste of both time and cost.
I also completed all medical history forms on BOTH ZocDoc and Paloma before the visit, and then had to re-answer every single question on the visit as well.
