About Dr. Omeed Paknejad
Omeed Paknejad, MD, earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2019. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock in 2024. Dr. Paknejad found inspiration to pursue a career in medicine from the compassionate care and dedication demonstrated by his childhood primary care physician. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2024.
Dr. Paknejad provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute illnesses and injuries, dermatological conditions, end-of-life care, women's health, geriatric care, and pediatric care. Dr. Paknejad believes clear communication is an important part of effective treatment, so he emphasizes listening attentively to his patients and involving them in decision making about their healthcare.

First off, had to pay for a physical when I already received a physical, then got prescribed medicine for a specific need, and the doctor told me it was more potent and only gave me over-the-counter remedy.

The staff was great outside of the doctor. My headache symptoms were ignored after explanation of multiple fevers over the weekend. After using the recommended over the counter med i felt no relief. No tests for my fevers, no meds, was in the end told to go to an emergency room after reaching out to after hours line for follow up via his nurses. I definitely would not recommend this physician.

We talked through all of my concerns and he did a great job of listening and answering my questions, not making me feel anything was unimportant or insignificant in my exam. I have never felt as heard much by a doctor as I did today. Glad to have found him!

This was my first visit with Dr. Omeed Paknejad, and I was extremely impressed. He is kind, soft-spoken, and highly knowledgeable, taking the time to listen and explain everything thoroughly. Unlike many doctors, he didn’t rush and genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being. After such a great experience, I will definitely keep him as my physician. Highly recommended!
