About Dr. Omolara Otaigbe
Dr. Otaigbe was born in Lagos, Nigeria, where she obtained her medical degree at the College of Medicine in the University of Lagos. She trained in Great Britain before coming to the United States with her husband, Dr. Joshua Otaigbe, who is a Polymer Scientist at the University of Southern Mississippi. After living in upstate New York, they relocated to Iowa where she completed her Family Medicine residency at the Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation in Waterloo. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Otaigbe is also certified by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
In addition to Family Medicine, Dr. Otaigbe is also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration and by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to perform Aviation and DOT medical examinations respectively.
Today, Dr. Otaigbe serves as the medical director at Southern Medical Care PLLC and Radiant Reflections PLLC. Southern Medical Care offers Family and Occupational health services whereas Radiant Reflections offers cosmetic procedures and massages by trained technicians with over 50 years of combined experience. The Weight Loss Clinic, functioning inside of Radiant Reflections Day Spa, offers personalized weight loss and weight management programs focused on long-term health goals for each individual. With the practices located right next door to each other, Dr. Otaigbe is able to float between locations when the need for her expertise arises.

I went to the clinic for an annual visit while home from work. I had another appointment scheduled to have an DOT physical done and was advised that they could do the DOT physical as well if needed. The staff was very accomodating and I was able to have my annual physical done and my DOT physical at one stop. I love the staff there and has now established care with the NP Tatum Johnson. The clinic is welcoming and the time makes it easy for me to schedule there.
