About Dr. Oren Ambalu

Dr. Oren Ambalu received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Prior to joining Optum, formerly CareMount Medical, Dr. Ambalu was a clinical assistant professor of anesthesiology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Ambalu practices at Optum’s Poughkeepsie Oakwood, Jefferson Valley, Lake Katrine (Kingston), and Fishkill Westage locations. He performs procedures in Optum’s Poughkeepsie Oakwood and Fishkill Westage procedure suites.
