About Dr. Orlee Hamer
Dr. Orlee Hamer received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania before attending medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her post-graduate internship training at Delaware County Memorial Hospital and completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.
She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Hamer specializes in a multidisciplinary approach to treat pain and musculoskeletal disorders by integrating physical therapy with injection techniques and osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Hamer individualizes her treatment plan with a focus on functional restoration. front desk employees were too busy on their business, waiting time around 45 minutes and I received more than 5 messages to be on time for appointment, when finally the dr assistant calls me, she had this nasty attitude and inside of the examination room, she asked few questions in a very rude tone of voice

Really disappointed. After years of treatment from injections, to ablation, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy - after barely finding providers that took my insurance- I thought this was my first step to gaining a better health from pain- hence “pain management” but she literally said what makes it worse then before - basically asking why am I here for pain now if I have been dealing with it for years. It honestly took me back and I was happy my fiancé was there because he agreed with the same vibe when I asked if I was imagining the rudeness and the lack of concern. She asked me to get images and said basically she has no idea what my symptoms are that it’s rare. Didn’t offer medication hence I wanted to go back on my muscle relaxer I was on for years to make me able to have a normal life. Rebooking same place, different doctor. Cancelled job interviews because I just wanted pain management and was told it’s unmanageable. Will update when I do a follow up

She was rude the minute she walked into the exam room, dismissive and spent the time telling me how she can’t help. Did not examine me and did not have any bedside manner when explaining her case. Was not sympathetic at all. I would not recommend her unless you want a robot for a medical person (she’s not professional and doesn’t deserve that description)

The bedside manner and professionalism of the staff at Redefine is beyond exceptional. I have always been able to talk to the doctors and staff and get my spinal issues under control, allowing me to function as I once did prior to my injury. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing doctors!

The service and the care is excellent. Dr Hamer is an excellent doctor she takes her time with you explains everything in detail. It is very easy to contact her if you have an questions or need anything her nurse contacts you very quickly. All the staff is very professional and attentive to all of your needs.

My Husband has been a patient here after having Back surgery in 2015 he's able to manage life better with the help of the professionals at Redefine Healthcare. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to your needs which helps the patients emotionally overall in this environment.
