About Dr. Oscar Ramirez
Oscar Ramirez, MD is one of our four full-time physicians at our new Northeast clinic and surgery center. He is excited about practicing on the Northeast side of San Antonio where he has lived and practiced medicine for over ten years. Dr. Ramirez is proficient in all areas of gastroenterology and has a special interest in colon cancer screenings.
Dr. Ramirez, who grew up and went to medical school in Guatemala, is fluent in Spanish. His passion for service comes from wanting to be a doctor from a very early age. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock. He and his wife of 25 years, Silvia, have two daughters, Maria Jose and Gabriela Natalia.
