Getting to know Oyinade Akhigbe

What should a new client know about working with you?

Treatment is best when you are open-minded to treatment options. My best clients are motivated and work with me as a team. They are open to treatment options and are willing to try different treatment modalities because mental health is not one-size-all. Controlled substances are not the first option of treatment in my practice.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session, we will briefly introduce ourselves and try to understand your main challenge or challenges. Sometimes, this may take multiple sessions. This will help me develop a treatment plan for our future sessions.
