About Ozma Syed

Ozma Syed, MS, CCC-SLP is the owner and director of Mindnasium. She is a NYS Licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Ozma graduated from Queens College in Flushing, NY, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sciences Disorders in 2016. She then completed her graduate program at Adelphi University, Garden City, NY, earning a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2018. Since 2019, she has been operating and managing Mindnasium, which focuses on children's development from both a body and mind perspective. Learn and Play is an integral part of children's growth at all ages. Ozma develops programs and classes for children's enrichment while ensuring a safe and healthy play space. Over the past few years, she has worked with students with various communication disorders, including language processing, stuttering, articulation, and phonological processes. Her experience includes working in school settings with children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Apraxia, and other language and articulation disorders. Ozma's love of working with children stems from her being a mother of four. She is able to share her personal experience with parents and their children. Given her diverse background, she communicates fluently in Urdu and Hindi.
