Getting to know Paige Sutula

Relational therapy with heart, clarity, and depth. Are you craving real change—not just surface-level fixes, but deep, lasting shifts in your relationships and in yourself? Whether you're moving through a major life transition, feeling stuck in old patterns, or wrestling with self-doubt, you're not alone. I help individuals and couples reconnect to themselves and each other—with warmth, clarity, and a deep respect for the inner world. For Individuals: You’ve always been the one who holds it all together. The strong one, the thoughtful one. But now? You’re tired. Maybe you’re stuck in self-criticism. Maybe you’ve outgrown the version of yourself you had to be to survive. Our work will help you explore the emotional patterns that keep pulling you off-center—perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame—and let go of the roles that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll find your way back to what’s real—and what’s yours. For Couples: I work with couples who want more—more connection, more safety, more honesty. Whether you're rebuilding trust, navigating disconnection, or facing a life shift that’s rocking the foundation of your relationship, we’ll slow down and tune into what really matters. Sometimes that means talking about communication or conflict. Sometimes it means naming the quiet ache of sexual disconnection—when intimacy feels distant, pressured, or absent altogether. I hold space for those tender conversations with warmth and precision, helping you explore the emotional and relational patterns underneath. Together, we’ll find your way back to each other—not by forcing harmony, but by building something real. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, grounding my work in both rigorous training and heartfelt connection.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is warm, grounded, and transformative. We’ll move at a pace that honors your nervous system and your truth. I’m not here to “fix” you—I’m here to walk alongside you as you remember what’s always been true beneath the survival patterns. I bring clarity, presence, and depth to our work, and I believe healing happens through connection—not performance. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR practices to facilitate deep healing and transformation in your life and relationships. You don’t have to shrink, self-abandon, or pretend. You just have to show up. I’ll meet you there.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you're not sure where to begin. In our first few sessions, we’ll slow down. We’ll get clear on what brings you in—what hurts, what’s stuck, what’s asking to be tended to. You won’t be rushed. You won’t be analyzed. You’ll be met. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or a couple, I’ll guide us gently toward clarity, with space to pause, reflect, and shift direction as needed. We'll co-create goals that actually matter to you, and build a process that feels supportive and grounded—not performative or forced. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate located near Olde Town Arvada. I offer in-person and virtual counseling services to Colorado residents. I enjoy working with individuals (age 12+), couples, and families of all identities and backgrounds.
