“I've had years of individual counseling. It's never been hard for me to share. Dr. Easterbrook made me feel at ease and comfortable immediately. During our session, from her reflections I learned things about myself that had never been articulated so accurately. I felt as though she really, "got me." I look forward to working with her.”

Getting to know Dr. Pamela Easterbrook

UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I use multiple approaches based on my clients' needs and goals. I believe that as a therapist, it is primarily my role to listen to a person's life story with compassion and without judgment. I help facilitate their healing by offering tools to manage whatever is holding them back. I am credentialed in EMDR, DBT, and Mediation. I also incorporate trauma-informed care, as I believe that all of us have experienced trauma in our lives that has left wounds and scars. I have over 30 years of experience working with teens and adults in community and residential settings. My clients typically deal with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, and relationship challenges. I hold a PhD in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, which informs my comprehensive and empathetic approach to therapy.
