“Honestly, the name, holistic psychiatrist does not do him justice. For over a decade, I have searched for a psychiatrist with both the education and knowledge of medication and holistic approaches. I understand that some people are looking specifically for medication, but in my case medication has failed me over and over. This doctor was able to help get me on the right medication, while seeing me consistently and providing exceptional and kind care. I completed my medical education at Kasturba Medical College Manipal, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree.
What should a new client know about working with you?
All my clients have access to my direct cell phone number, and they can call and text me any time . I or one of my partner doctor, will answer all calls on same day most of the time, or within 2 business days. (For urgent emergency please reach 911)
I know people can have a busy schedule, and hard to juggle between responsibilities. There is no penalty for being late, there is no No SHOW fees.
You can call us on the day of the appointment, and if you miss it, let us know, and we will schedule you within the next 2 days.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I work in partnership with my clients. I empower my patients with greater understanding of the psychopathology, and work with them to come at the treatment options. I prefer to use the least amount of medicine, to minimize the side effects and dependency.
I prefer holistic approaches whenever possible over drugs.
But if you need medicine , I will prescribe it.
I use controlled substances as well as non-controlled medications for stabilization.
