“From walking in the door to speak with the staff, the gentleman was lovely.. He knew his job and the doctor and her assistant were professional they were friendly and explained everything. I was very, very happy with them and the office was spotless. Very nice office. I would recommend them highly 100%. ”

About Dr. Parul Shah
Dr. Parul Shah is a board-certified dermatologist from St. Louis, Missouri, and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She completed a 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her dermatology residency at St. Louis University. She also completed a fellowship at Duke University, researching topical vitamin C with Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, founder of SkinCeuticals.
Dr. Shah has practiced general and cosmetic dermatology across the U.S., including in Illinois, Southern California, Texas, Maryland, and Tennessee, and has volunteered in Kenya and India. Her interests include acne treatment, skincare, and cosmetic dermatology. In 2023, she was named one of Nashville’s Top Doctors.
In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys family time, traveling, hiking, exploring new foods and restaurants, enjoying good coffee, reading, and watching movies. Her goals are to ensure patients feel listened to, respected, and comfortable, and to provide inclusive care for all ethnicities and races. The office is nice , don’t have to wait long. However , I feel that is part of the issue. When I was calling in , I feel that the process (actually speaking with the doctor) was very rushed or she seemed to be in a rush. As I’m trying to explain my concerns, questions etc she just kept reiterating that eczema & dermatitis are the same thing” , so I continue to try to explain my issues on finding a moisturizer that doesn’t flare my skin etc and again she just says there’s no way to know which skin condition I have”? To just use vanicream” and continue using the cream she prescribed although it’s not meant for continuous use , and if I stop using it my symptoms come right back? I just felt like I was given a bandaid solution so to speak with no actual result

the doctor had a difficult patient which caused for me to be in the waiting room for a half hour and then it took an additional half hour to see the doctor. my exam was efficient and covered my questions but the doctor didn’t acknowledge the long wait time even though this was my first experience.
