Patience Amune, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
FL
I'm Patience Amune, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner dedicated to helping adults-especially women-navigate ADHD, anxiety, burnout, and mood-related challenges. I provide thoughtful medication management combined with supportive, practical care to help you feel more focused, emotionally balanced, and in control of your daily life. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or unsure whether their symptoms are related to ADHD, anxiety, or both. I understand how frustrating it can be to struggle in silence or feel like your concerns have been overlooked. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while also receiving clear guidance and effective treatment. My approach is collaborative and individualized. I take time to understand your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals so we can develop a treatment plan that truly fits your needs. This may include medication management, education, and practical strategies to improve focus, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being. I focus on realistic, sustainable progress rather than quick fixes. I provide care through telehealth across Florida as well as in-person visits in Sanford. For those who prefer, I also offer faith-informed care as part of a holistic approach to mental health. If you're looking for a provider who listens carefully, explains options clearly, and works with you step-by-step, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward greater stability and balance.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
