What should a new client know about working with you?

As your psychiatric provider, my goal is to support you in a safe, collaborative, and judgment-free environment. I believe mental health care is most effective when we work as a team — you bring your lived experiences, and I bring clinical knowledge and evidence-based practices. Together, we create a personalized plan that fits your needs, values, and lifestyle. I take a holistic and patient-centered approach, focusing not only on symptoms but on your overall well-being. This may include medication management, psychotherapy interventions, education, lifestyle strategies, and connecting you with helpful resources. I value open communication and encourage questions — your understanding and comfort are important. We move at your pace, and every step is tailored to help you build insight, strengthen resilience, and feel empowered in your mental health journey. Most importantly, I aim to create a supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and respected as you work toward healing and growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a compassionate, individualized, and collaborative approach to care. During our first session, we will explore your symptoms, history, goals, and any concerns you have. This helps me gain a full understanding of your mental health and create a personalized treatment plan designed for you. Treatment may include medication management, supportive and evidence-based therapeutic strategies, lifestyle guidance, and education to help you feel confident and empowered in understanding your mental health. I believe in working with you — not just prescribing — and I make sure you are always informed, supported, and comfortable with every step of your treatment. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and providing ongoing support. My goal is to create a safe, culturally-sensitive, and judgment-free space where you can feel understood and make meaningful progress toward wellness
