I hold a Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, which informs my compassionate and comprehensive care.

I believe that the best care comes from building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and understood. My style is warm and empathetic, yet structured, as I help guide you through the therapeutic process at a pace that feels right for you.

In our sessions, we will work together to identify the core issues affecting your mental health, and I will tailor treatments that are evidence-based and suited to your unique needs. Whether it's through medication management, therapeutic interventions, or a combination of both, I aim to empower you with tools and strategies that promote healing and growth.

I was disappointed with this doctor as I have dealt with unsupportive doctors prior that seem to not have much knowledge outside of the clinical settings. (trauma informed) I have been felt to made like I was out of mind when mentioning the trauma I have been going through for many years. RIght away diagnosed as possible schizophrenia when mentioning the things that happen to many in the world and people do not need doctors to add into the gaslighting schemes that these criminals use.

This was my very first ever mental health appointment via video and I am very very impressed. I am so happy I chose Dr. Hoyt. She was able to turn my jumbled up thoughts into something that actually made sense. I also learned a lot about things I didn't know I didn't know, if that makes sense. I am very happy with the care I received and I look forward to my next appointment with her. This time I won't be nervous at all, and if you are reading this and it is your first time, don't worry one bit. The staff and Dr. Hoyt helped guide me through the entire process and answered all my questions and concerns before I even asked. I also super appreciated being able to text with the office since talking on the phone with new people gives me immense anxiety. Nikki was also amazing. :)
