Getting to know Patricia Perez

I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep concerns, stress, and major life transitions. I also support individuals navigating relationship challenges, parenting concerns, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and women’s health–related concerns. I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive care in both English and Spanish.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is practical, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I incorporate evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to help you build skills that work in your everyday life. As a medication prescriber, I thoughtfully integrate medication management.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together, we will clarify your goals, identify barriers, and create personalized, sustainable strategies that help you build resilience, restore balance, and create meaningful, lasting change. I help with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, and burnout. Treatment typically includes goal setting, skills-building (CBT-based tools), processing experiences, and practical strategies you can use between sessions. You can expect greater clarity, healthier coping, improved relationships, and lasting emotional resilience.
