About Dr. Patrick Hammen
Dr. Patrick Hammen received his bachelor of science in psychology from Furman University in Greenville, SC. He received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Memorial Medical Center and completed his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Foundation.
Dr. Hammen is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Hammen and his staff, including the staff at the Wellstar Cobb Hospital during and after my procedure, also the follow-up call that Dr. Hammen and his nurse set up for me was one of the best experiences I've had with an outpatient procedure that was a preventative with it being my first time. I really appreciate the bedside manner and the follow-up calls and the follow-up from the after the procedure. I would highly recommend not only Dr. Hammen and his staff, but also Wellstar in general. Thank you. Have a good day.
